RTK Gaming.com - World of Warcraft

1. Download WoW if you don't already have it. Make sure you are using the latest supported version.

2. Create your RTK game account HERE.
Note: If you want to play “The Burning Crusade” expansion make sure to click on “TBC" registration site at the top of the registration screen. FAILING to do so will mean you will NOT be able to use the Burning Crusade content (like new races, level to 70, Outlands, etc.)

Click The Create WoW Account link


Enter your Desired Account Information



3. If you don't want this jump over to step 3a. Else skip it.
Download the newest RTKGaming Launcher viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1778 version. Download it to your World of Warcraft folder and start WoW by executing the launcher and press "Start WoW". This will automatically set the proper realmlist and also checks if you are using the correct version of wow.

3a.Set the proper realmlist
--A.) Open your realmlist.wtf file in your WoW installation directory using a text editor. (usually at C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf)





--B.) Replace the text there so that it reads :




--C.) Save and close the file.

NOTE: Every time you update WOW, the realmlist.wtf file will always reset back to the retail servers. Make sure after updating your client to complete step 3 again.

4. Log in the game and enjoy! Be sure to run the Game from Wow.exe NOT FROM LAUNCHER.exe
You will need to create a custom shortcut on your desktop.
